Here at Sambucas Grill; located in downtown Toronto; we’ve been preparing the finest Italian cuisine for our customers for years, we have a wide selection of menu items available every day for dine in, take out and delivery. We believe in using only good quality ingredients to make our great tasting food and we’ll spare no expense to get it. We have your favorite appetizers, great for sharing like the Fried Calamari (lightly spiced and battered squid served with a tangy jalapeno aioli dipping sauce) and Bruschetta (diced plum tomatoes tossed with fresh basil, garlic and extra virgin olive oil topped with goat cheese and served on toasted garlic crustinis). We have light and fresh salads like the Greek Salad (crisp lettuce mixed with kalamata olives, English cucumber, bell peppers, red onion, tomatoes and feta cheese in oregano olive oil vinaigrette). However our specialty is pasta and we have a lot; Penne Alla Vodka (penne tossed with smoked bacon and leeks in a vodka cream sauce), Primavera (fusilli tossed with a mixture of fresh seasonal vegetables in a basil tomato sauce) and Tettrazini (linguine tossed with grilled chicken, Bruschetta mix, broccoli and mushrooms in a sweet basil cream sauce) just to name a few. We also have a variety of sandwiches, pizzas, and entrée’s made with steak, salmon, chicken, lamb and veal available as well. So the next time you’re craving something fancy for dinner that won’t break your budget give us a go and you won’t be disappointed.

I've ordered (make that TRIED to order) from sambucas on three separate occasions (from Jan - May) and got 3 different GrubCanada-agents calling me to let me know that they had no delivery driver. Unacceptable and very inconveniencing. I know that it is not a fair review of their FOOD but it is a review of their service. I am not sure if they were having real problems or if they did not want to meet their minimum order for delivery (I've ordered between 30-50 dollars from them on those occasions...) Eitherway, I hope that they're fixed it. I will not attempt to order from them again.
